Gedam+

The prayer stays free. Gedam+ comes later.

Everything Gedam does today is free, and the list below stays free permanently. Not a trial, and not a taste of something larger held back behind a price. No ads, no trackers, and nothing to buy in the app at launch.

In time there will be Gedam+, a paid subscription for those who want it. It will be added alongside everything below, never carved out of it, and it will never gate a prayer, a reading, a fast, or a saint. We would rather tell you that plainly now than surprise you with it later.

Coming

Gedam+

Gedam is made by one person, and it will need to support itself. Gedam+ is how: an optional paid subscription, for those who want to go further, and for those who simply want to keep the lights on for everyone else.

Plainly: this is my work, and I hope to make a living from it. The labourer is worthy of his hire, and I would rather say so than dress it up as charity. Ten per cent of the profit goes back to the Church. The rest keeps one person building this instead of doing something else.

It is not available yet, and the price is not set. Put your name down for launch updates and you will be the first to know.

A companion who knows your practice

Not a chatbot, and not a substitute for your spiritual father. A quiet daily word drawn from what you have actually kept: the fasts you have held, the days you have prayed, the Scripture you have read. A reflection each week on where you are growing and where you have drifted. It meets a missed day with mercy rather than a scold, because that is how the Church meets one. It is built, and stays switched off until Gedam+ opens, so nothing of yours goes to any AI provider in this release. It is the one part of Gedam that costs real money every time it is used, which is why it is the honest place to ask you to pay rather than the prayers.

A rule as large as you need

Seven devotions is a generous rule and most of us keep fewer. But some are called further: the whole cycle of the Hours, a fast kept more strictly, a psalm a day through the Psalter, prayers for every name you carry. Gedam+ takes the ceiling off.

And what is not ready to be spoken of

There is more coming. Some of it is being built, some of it is still being prayed over, and none of it is ready to be promised in writing. We would rather show you than describe it. Subscribers will see it first, and everything listed as free above will still be free when it arrives.
